The J1 Template comes with popular icon sets ready to use, no setup needed. The icon sets Material Design Icons (MDI and MDIL) and FontAwesome (FA) look great and offer many icons for the kinds of pictures you usually find on web pages.

The J1 Icon Picker works with these icon sets:

Material Design Light Icons MDIL, 260+ icons of version 0 (February 2024)

Material Design Regular Icons MDI, 7200+ icons of version 7 (March 2024)

FontAwesome Icons FA, 2000+ icons of the free version 6 (March 2024)
| Icon sets The free version of FontAwesome does not include the full FA icon set. The paid Pro version has more than 26,000 icons, but you need a paid plan to use it. The MDI Base icon set is a smaller group of about 2,600 icons taken from the much bigger regular MDI set. The regular set has over 7,200 icons. Because that is so many, we do not recommend loading all of them when a page first opens — it would slow your page down. |
